WELCOME TO BLANCHETT FITNESS

Hello, and welcome to Blanchett Fitness.

I’m Elaine - a personal trainer with a long personal journey with movement that has evolved through many stages of life, including motherhood. That experience has shaped how I coach today: with a focus on long-term health, consistency, and training that genuinely fits into real life.

I bring a lot of energy to my work, but just as importantly, I care deeply about helping people feel comfortable, supported, and understood. Many of my clients come to me feeling unsure, out of routine, or disconnected from exercise, and my role is to meet them where they’re at, not where they think they “should” be.

I specialise in creating personalised training that builds strength, confidence, and resilience over time. This includes pre and post-natal personal training, but also extends to anyone looking for a sustainable approach to fitness without quick fixes or pressure.

Whether you’re a busy parent, returning to exercise after a break, or simply ready to prioritise your health in a way that feels manageable, we’ll work together to build something that lasts.

Come and get to know me, as I’d love to help you get started.

I absolutely loved being trained by Elaine. She immediately made me feel at ease and was so full of knowledge. I loved her attention to technique and form and her general fun and inclusive approach. I'd highly recommend her to anyone of any fitness level

WHAT I’M READING

I am reading about all things Pelvic Health right now. This is an often overlooked topic and it shouldn’t be given we all have pelvic floor muscles and how they work changes over our lifetime.

This is a great introductory book on pelvic health. Another topic that we aren’t taught about as we grow up and often this subject comes up only when you have a problem. easy to read and super practical.

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO

This podcast is a breath of fresh air in an industry that is all about perfect. My most recent listen was a series on using the barbell where. What I like is that it takes it right back to basics and helps to set the scene for each exercise with modifications along the way. Check it out if you’ve wanted to master the barbell, but haven’t had the confidence yet.

FURTHER RESOURCES

In my small world, there are a lot of new little lives entering at the moment and this has me reflecting on my post-natal journey with my body & exercise. Something I am so pleased I did, was going to see a pelvic health physiotherapist about 8 weeks after my son was born. She supported me with getting to know the new version of me and helped me understand how I needed to reset after the mammoth tasks of growing, housing & birthing a baby. Tara was incredible, but wherever you are, you can look for pelvic floor physios or search for '‘Mummy MOT’s” to find someone near you.
